Attendance at Post Trainings

Unless you are contacted to the contrary, all Post meetings are held on the first and third Sundays of each month, from 11am to 2pm at Station 1 in New Berlin.  Attendance is not mandatory; however, you are requested to contact your Post Advisor in advance if you will be unable to attend the training.  This is done as a courtesy for the Advisors and other Explorers so that trainings can be planned based on attendance.  Also, because Explorers is a preparation for a possible career in fire fighting, we are requesting communications similar to those expected of fire fighters.

There are no maximum absence rules; however, lack of attendance combined with lack of communication with the Advisor over an extended period of time will be cause for cancellation of membership with the Post.

Attendance at Tuesday Night Trainings

It is the policy of Post 193 that all Explorers are invited to attend Tuesday night training (6:30pm-? ) at any of the Fire Stations in New Berlin if they have attended the previous Sunday Post meeting.  If you miss a Sunday training, you may not attend Tuesday night training until you have attended another Sunday Post meeting.  (Unique situations will be given consideration by the Post Advisor.)
